Module 4: We Are Connected

• Describe how contest mode and mob points reward the cohort rather than the individual
• Name the adults on your Talent Ready team and what each one does
• Explain what leading with value looks like at a study table

Talent Ready scores cohorts, not individuals. Mob points roll up to the class year. Contest mode runs table against table. There is no individual leaderboard on purpose. The design says something: your success and your table's success are the same number.

Build Your Dream Team is not about picking the smartest students. It is about knowing who does what. Your team includes adults: Ms. King coordinates the program, Mr. James and Mr. Buma facilitate in Room 105 and Room 102, Ms. Seward is your PGCC Success Coach for registration and advising. Knowing which adult to go to for which problem is a skill.

Lead with Value means the first thing you offer a group is help, not a demand. At a study table that looks like: explaining the item you got right to the person who got it wrong, before anyone asks. Embrace Everyone means the new student at the table gets the same explanation as your friend.

Situation: Contest mode, Module 5, one student at the table has missed the last two gates.

Why it matters: The table wins the round and the student behind closes a gap. That is one number going up for two reasons.
