The gate is 85 percent on the first attempt, scored on the server, with a 24-hour window before a retake. That rule is the same standard PGCC holds. It is not there to make you fail. It is there so that a pass means something. Accountability starts with a standard you cannot negotiate. Own Your Life means you plan for the standard instead of hoping the standard moves.

Eleventh and twelfth graders leave Room 105 for PGCC classes and check out when they leave and check in when they return at 1:55, even when no facilitator is in the room. Nobody watches. That is the point. Accountability is what you do when the system trusts you.

Focus Your Energy means sorting a setback into two piles: what you control and what you do not. The exam date, the instructor's policy, and the Canvas clock are not yours. Your start date, your learning-hours attendance, and your retake are. Grow Through Life means the second pile is where all your progress lives.

Situation: A student misses the 24-hour window and cannot retake a gate before the module closes.

Why it matters: Only the second student has a change they can make. The first student will have the same problem next module.
